Terms & Conditions

The small print

There are terms and conditions for use of both the chalet and the holiday park. The terms we have in place for our chalet have worked well for all occupants since we began letting. Adherence to our simple requirements will mean we can continue to offer excellent value for future holidays.

Chalet Terms

The Rules for You

Cleaning

We operate the hiring of the chalet on a self clean basis which means we would like you to leave the chalet as clean as (we hope) you have found it! This helps reduce cost and given the chalet's size cleaning shouldn't present too much of a task! There are cleaning utensils, hoover etc and other equipment at the chalet. The chalet will be checked before your arrival for cleanliness but should you arrive and discover a problem then ring and let us know straight away.

Smoking

In the interests of other users of our chalet and most importantly children, we do not allow smoking in the chalet and request that smokers retire to the decked terrace of the chalet or other areas of the park where permitted. As the Clubhouse is a licensed public area this is now a non smoking area although there is a designated smoking area.

Bedding

For your arrival we will provide clean sheets, duvets and pillow cases for the double and single beds. You will find these folded for you to make up the beds as required. Clean T towels will also be supplied. If you plan to use the sofa bed in the lounge then you must provide your own bedding for it.

The twin beds at the chalet are full size however for practicality one bed is able to be stored underneath the other when not in use (Guest Bed). Therefore the beds are at different heights.

Insurance, Breakages & Damages

Pretty much as any other 'holiday let', you are always advised to have your own holiday insurance in the event of any unfortunate personal injury or serious personal theft which may occur during your holiday. The chalet and some contents are covered by insurance however this does not extend to occupiers or their property. Guests stay at their own risk.

Minor breakages caused by occupants can be sorted out quite easily just as long as we know straight away! More major damage caused by occupiers will be their responsibility to repair or replace, but once again let us know A.S.A.P and we can attempt to deal with it without any fuss.

Our Rates

As we only let out to friends and colleagues, we do so on an extremely reasonable basis. Much care and investment has gone into the chalet, making it superior in its style with others at the park. Our rates however are significantly reduced given our unique client base. If we continue to establish a regular occupancy then we will endeavour to keep the prices as low as possible.

Deposits

Unless otherwise directed we ask that a deposit of 100 per week's stay be paid shortly after booking. When received, this deposit will guarantee your reservation. The balance should then be paid no less than two months before your arrival. Should you cancel the booking within one month of your expected arrival and your cancelled reservation is not subsequently filled then the deposit will become non-refundable. The remaining balance however will be returned to you.

So, we hope we have whetted your appetite enough for a stay at the Cotswolds and we're sure you will enjoy your time there as much as we always do.

For a quote, or if you have any questions then please feel free to contact us.

Seasons & Weekend breaks & Other Chalets

The summer season & school holidays are usually very busy at the park and are ideal for families with children. Other times can be quite peaceful and can offer almost exclusive use of the park's facilities - contact us for details of when these periods are. Long weekend rates are based on a minimum rental of three nights (this is a park policy) although you do not need to be there for the full duration of any booking.

Should you require more than one chalet then we have contacts with friends and other private owners who can offer a neighbouring chalet for let - maybe not as cheap as we do - but we would be pleased to negotiate a good deal for you!

The Rules for Everyone

Arrivals & Departures

Unless you have been otherwise informed you have access to the chalet after 2pm on your day of arrival and you must hand the keys back into reception no later than 12 noon on the day of your departure. We ask that you stick to these times as the brief interval allows for maintenance, inspection and linen change.

Pets

We are afraid that park policy allows no pets. There are kennels and a cattery close by.

Smoking

In the interests of other users of our chalet and most importantly children, we do not allow smoking in the chalet and request that smokers retire to the decked terrace of the chalet or other areas of the park where permitted. As the Clubhouse is a licensed public area this is now a non smoking area although there is a designated smoking area.
