Our Chalet

The Chalet is located within the Cotswold Hoburne Leisure Park, South Cerney, Gloucestershire. It is a wooden structured detached holiday home; Style - 'Maine'. It is generally used by us, our family and friends and now we have decided to open it up for letting to the general public. The chalet unit is now fully double glazed making it ideal for autumn and winter breaks.

The Cotswold Water Park is about 15 miles north of junction 15 on the M4 and 4 miles south of Cirencester (see directions). The Water Park is made up of over one hundred small to large reclaimed lakes. The 'Hoburne' is set around four of these lakes.

Abundant with ancient landmarks and historic market towns and villages like Cirencester, Tetbury, Stow and Bourton on the Water, The Cotswolds conjure feelings of true 'Olde England'. We have collected some useful maps and brochures for walks, bike rides, drives and places to go for your use. We have compiled a catalogue of brochures which are kept at the chalet for your reference. The choices are endless.

There are plenty of other lakes on the Water Park and each is themed; wind-surfing, sailing, canoeing, water skiing including an automated system, fishing, beach & country park, conservation and residential.

Places of interest slightly further a field include the wonderful town of Bath, Safari at Longleat, shopping at Cheltenham, Oxford and Gloucester or even a sea side trip to Western Super Mare - are all accessible for days out.

Whether you want activity or tranquillity, the Park itself is heaving with features for families, groups of friends, or couples alike. A buzzing clubhouse with seasonal entertainment, including Sammy Seahorse for the little ones, or lakeside walks with a round of crazy golf or a spot of fishing..you won't know where to start!
